ipoly has been developed to provide conservatory owners across the UK with a solution to heat loss and heat gain in their conservatories.
We have been using polycarbonate in conservatory roof for over 25 years, but this technology has continued to develop. This has lead to thicker polycarbonate roof structures which provide greater insulation. Some of the polycarbonate today has a better U-Value (Thermal Resistance) than double glazed glass units.
iPoly use a clear seven wall polycarbonate sheet that is thirty five millimetres thick, which provides a U-Value of 1.2. Then we install Ultrashield Solar Inserts into the cavity to help reject the sun’s energy during the summer months.
iPoly helps control the internal environment of your conservatory by retaining heat in the winter and rejecting heat in the summer. Therefore iPoly helps you to reduce you carbon foot print by using less heating in the winter and less electronic cooling systems in the summer, saving you money!
iPoly can retrofit to nearly all conservatory roof systems, so don’t think you need a complete new roof. iPoly is a cost effective way of upgrading your conservatory polycarbonate roof and cost less than having a glass roof installed.
